Singapore Airlines can become the first airline company to use blockchain

Blockchain technologies are attractive not only to financial organizations, state bodies, but also to airlines. Singapore Airlines announced its plans to implement blockchain technology in its loyalty program KrisFlyer. This innovation will provide a new way of using bonus miles, Reuters reports.
The company plans to launch a digital wallet this summer and sign partnership agreements with several retailers in Singapore and other countries.
According to the general director of the organization, if these plans can be implemented, the company will be the first in the world to implement such a procedure.
